Hassan Rajwani
CEO & Co-Founder
Hassan is a Level 5 referee and is on a mission to help referees across the globe reach their potential. Hassan created REFSIX to help grassroots referees have greater insights into their games so they can develop and improve, enabling them to reach whatever level they aspire to be. Hassan’s background is in technology, specifically leading a digital design team at American Express where he worked for six years before embarking on REFSIX. A huge Newcastle fan!
Luke Gardiner
CTO & Co-Founder
Luke is a passionate techie with experience building a number of customer-facing web and mobile experiences. Before REFSIX, he spent seven years working in various technical roles at American Express, most recently working as a Senior Engineer supporting mobile payments. He loves the great outdoors and you’ll find him out cycling in the summer and skiing in the winter. Luke enjoys mid-table mediocrity as an Ipswich fan.
Rimon Nassory
CIO & Business Development Manger
Rimon is the former founder of RefLevel referee app and joined REFSIX in 2021. Rimon is from Denmark and has been a grassroots referee since 2012. Besides refereeing he has spent many years as an app developer for various companies and loves football. A huge Manchester United fan.
Jonathon Wilks
Product Analyst
Jon is an avid level 4 referee in England and previously also refereed in Australia. He has a strong sport science background studying Sport and Exercise Science for his undergraduate degree and Performance Analysis for his Masters. Jon worked as a performance analyst at a top tier football club and when he’s not refereeing he spends his spare time as a personal trainer to other referees.
Paul Markland
Investor/Non-Executive Director
Paul has spent much of his career in the travel marketing space, he directed Orbital’s diversification, through both acquisitions and organic growth, into a multi-sector, multi-skilled communications and specialist logistics group employing over 500 people across nine sites and ten businesses. He oversaw a partial Management Buyout in 2010 and a subsequent sale of the business to Menzies Distribution, a division of John Menzies plc, in 2012. Paul is now Chairman of Hythe Town FC and an Arsenal fan.
Aidan Cooney
Investor
Aidan founded the sports data company Opta in 2000 growing it to one of the most influential sports data companies in the world before his exit to PERFORM Group in 2013.
Aidan now is the CEO of digital sports agency, InCrowd, who build fan engagement experiences for countless football clubs in England as well as other sports like Rugby and F1.
Alex Horne
Investor
Alex led The English FA for 5 years. As the CEO of probably the highest-profile, most complex, multi-stakeholder sports organisation in the UK, he was able to re-build confidence in the organisation's ability to govern and develop the game across England. He oversaw the successful financing, completion and opening of both Wembley National Stadium and the National Football Centre.
Alex is now leading the growing team at NotLost in expanding their lost property solution across London venues.
Jim May
Investor
After spending much of his career in banking, Jim has held a number of Non-Exec roles across different sectors including legal, education, the NHS, transport and property. He has recently stepped down as Chairman of Sussex Cricket. During his time Sussex won three trophies, redeveloped their ground and also oversaw the formation of the Sussex Cricket Foundation. Jim is a keen Brighton fan and is looking forward to seeing the team play in the Premier League for the first time.
Mario Almondo
Investor
Mario brings years of experience to the table, having spent 23 years at Ferrari where he held multiple roles including the COO and also the F1 Team Director. After leaving Ferrari, Mario worked as the President and CEO of Brembo China and is now currently the General Manager of Brembo S.p.A Performance Division.
