Support for development (CORE) groups
REFSIX has helped associations such as the London FA create packages for development groups of referees. This enables every referee in the group to access REFSIX PRO at a much-reduced rate. Our match performance data can’t be attained elsewhere due to our unique algorithm that tracks a referee’s movements. This gives referees new insight into where they need to be on the pitch to make big decisions. We cater for groups of referees from 10, 50 and 300+, and can help source smart watches.
For referee coaches, we have a tool that can help you monitor and track referees over the season. This is useful for talent identification, and for generating insights into what development opportunities a referee might have. As you can see trends across the group, you can also spot things that might need to be added to your training programme based on match data.

Referee coaching tool
This tool lets coaches view upcoming matches and results for all of their referees. Get detail information about every match even when you can’t physically attend every one. It helps coaches to prioritise their limited time allowing them to quickly review their referee’s matches and assess which referees you need to follow up with. The tool gives access to:
Match data: goals, cards, subs and timings from every match result.
Performance data: heat map, sprint map, card positions, distance covered, heart rate zones… (everything available in REFSIX PRO)
Trends: see aggregated trends across multiple referees such distance over time etc (again, everything available in REFSIX PRO)

Video Analysis Tool
The REFSIX Video Analysis Tool allows you to review match footage with heart rate, speed and positioning displayed in real time. It is the perfect tool for reviewing player or referee performance.
Scrub through the video to find interesting play and watch as the telemetry data updates in real time to show the physical performance and positioning on the field.
When the referee, coach or someone at the match recorded the match using the REFSIX watch app (or Observer Tool - see below), you can skip straight to the important sections of the video and data by clicking on the match events.
GPS and heart rate data can be imported from any device (the user doesn’t have to be a REFSIX user).

Observer Tool
Our observer app allows observers, assessors and mentors to record detailed information during the game as they watch the officials. Keep track of notes for the referee, assistants and fourth official all in one place. On top of recording goals, cards and substitutions you can also record detailed observer information including:
Fouls - did they see the foul and did they make the correct decision
Advantage - did they wait and see, did they give a foul?
Positioning - notes on whether positioning during different phases of the match correct
Team work - did they work well with their colleagues
Offside - was the decision correct and were they in the right position
… and much more …
After the match you can review the feedback in the app and share with the association and officials.
In combination with the video analysis tool above, feedback will be timestamped on the video so all stakeholders can click on a piece of feedback to view the incident directly in the video tool.
