REFSIX Compatible Watches
The REFSIX referee app works on Apple Watch, WearOS, Samsung and Garmin watches. Download the REFSIX app from either the App Store or Google Play on your phone.
Apple Watches
All REFSIX features including heat maps & heart rate work across all Apple Watch models from series 2 and up. We suggest getting the latest model you can afford to get maximum battery life and system speed.
Apple Watch Series 5, Apple Watch Series 4, Apple Watch Series 3
Please note you can only use Apple Watches with iPhones.
Samsung watches
Samsung watches support the REFSIX app. This includes the Samsung Gear S3 and up as well as the new generation of Samsung WearOS watches starting with the Samsung Galaxy Watch4.
WearOS (Download REFSIX from the Play Store on your watch)
Tizen (Download REFSIX from the Galaxy Store on your watch)
From December 2023, Samsung is dropping support for Tizen watch apps. As a result REFSIX will no longer be able to provide app updates to Samsung watches released before the watch4. The existing watch app should continue to function after this date.
You can use any of the above Samsung watches with an iPhone or Android phone
WearOS watches
WearOS watches make a great companion to REFSIX and are available in number of brands and price points. All REFSIX features including heat maps & heart rate work on all wearOS watches including the following popular models:

Ticwatch E3 (Lowest cost!)
You can use any of the above Wear OS watches with an Android phone and most of them (excluding the Samsung ones) with an iPhone too.
Garmin watches
The REFSIX Garmin watch app supports most of the latest Garmin watch models, although there are some exceptions that require our ‘Lite’ app. The Garmin Connect IQ store shows the most current watch list compatible with the full REFSIX app.
If you are buying a Garmin device to use with REFSIX, we suggest selecting watches that are compatible with the full REFSIX app version, so that you get the best experience possible.
IMPORTANT: There are 2 versions of our Garmin app (full & lite) - please select the correct version below based on your watch. Alternatively, just search for “refsix” in ConnectIQ; only the correct one will be displayed!
